If students need to save large files. (i.e. iMovie projects)
Have them burn them onto a CD or use a USB drive. The student computers are capable of burning CDs. (NOT DVDs) They should NOT save large files to the network directory.
F7 key:
Do not use the F7 key. It will mess up you settings for the board.
Some students have had trouble finding files on a PC after saving on the MAC.
Make sure the students go to "save as" and check the check box that says "Append file extension". The MAC needs to save with the file extension (i.e. .doc) for student to easily open the file on PC.
Almost everyone is hooked up. There are only a couple of boards not working. We will have them fixed soon.
I have been hearing of many teachers moving projectors and changing settings on the projectors. Rob, Tom, Dan, or myself should be the one's fixing settings on the projectors.
If you go into a room and the projection doesn't fit the board follow these two steps:
1. CHECK the display settings on your computer. The Projector setting should be 1024x768 with 70 hertz and the Color LCD should be 1024x640. (NOT stretched) WE ALL NEED TO USE THE SAME SETTINGS OR AS PEOPLE COME AND GO IN ROOMS THE BOARD PROJECTION WILL BE CHANGED.
2. If the projection doesn't fit and you have the correct settings E-MAIL me.
What can I do if my computer freezes with the "spinning beach ball of doom"?

Do I need to update Firefox on my Mac?
Many people have been asking about using TAC on Firefox....please, verify the Firefox version on your MAC. Launch Firefox (even if you're not connected to the network), and click the "About Mozilla Firefox". You need to see version 2.0.0.3. If it's anything other than that, it needs to be updated.
